Teaming Agreement in the Area of Space Surveillance
The teaming agreement, signed on 20 May 2008, combines the electro-optic and satellite operations technologies of EOS with the satellite and radar technologies of OHB. Both companies expect that the creation of new space surveillance capabilities will offer unprecedented levels of performance and, therefore, will establish new benchmarks in affordable space technology, with specific application in emergin markets.

Remote Weapon System Breakthrough
"The Netherlands Armed Forces are equipping 17 of their Thales-supplied Bushmaster mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) infantry mobility vehicles, used in Afghanistan, with Raven R-400 stabilized remote weapon stations". Raven/Crows is produced by an industry team comprised of Australian-based Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited and US-based Recon Optical."

"Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited is pleased to announce that it has won an order to supply remote weapon systems for use by the Netherlands Army. The contract was awarded to EOS by Thales Australia for fitting to Bushmaster Infantry Mobility Vehicles manufactured by Thales for the Netherlands Army."
